If you experience a black ring around the eyes of your character it is because Iray has an issue with them being away from origin zero (0,0,0). Couple of solutions to try is First option is to place your character back at origin zero then move your environment/objects around your character. Second option to try is to go into the render settings and under Instance Optimization change to either memory or speed.

Increase hair width (double) and reduce tip size. Gives the illusion of denser hair/fur. Without increasing the number of hairs.

Not rendering try setting PR and PS Interpolation to 0.5.

Special Thanks to Serene Night for this tip! There are 2 ways.

1. Change scene ID of the item to G8M.
   1. Load item and select it in the scene tab.
   2. Click the hamburger menu in the top right corner of the scene tab.
   3. Choose edit/scene identification.
   4. Change preferred base to genesis 8 male. Accept.
   5. Fit pants to G8M. Right click on item select Fit to…. G8M from list.
   6. Apply Bulge morph to G8M, may need to resize shorts smaller if they dont fit G8M right.
   7. Apply smoothing (Mesh Smoothing/Smoothing iterations) until genitals are hidden.
2. Uses fit control if you have it. Change scene id as above.
   1. Apply Fit Control for G8M.
   2. Morphs: Adj Thighs, Gen Bulge and Groin Smoother (Fit Control Addon pack).
   3. Remove unused morphs.
   4. Shrink size of shorts if need to for better fit.
   5. Apply smoothing (Mesh Smoothing/Smoothing iterations) until genitals are hidden.
